Pages, pinned posts and the homepage

Pages

Pages (About, Contact, Support…) use the same editor as posts and get clean URLs, but they stay out of the post list. Create them under Pages, and add them to your menu in Settings → Navigation (up to 12 links).

Pin a post

Pin a post to feature it at the top of the blog's home page.

Use a Page as your homepage

In Settings → General, set Homepage shows to one of your published Pages. The post list then moves to /posts/ automatically, and the Page's own address redirects to the homepage, so search engines see one address per page.

Media Manager

Media shows every image as a thumbnail, with:

• a popup preview,
• one-click copy link,
• "used in" tracking, to see which posts use each image,
• multi-select delete.
